Security Observatory among the partners of the European SHIELD PCP project

Share:
The Security Observatory is a partner of the SHIELD PCP project! We are co-creating innovative technologies tailored to the needs of services protecting gatherings and public spaces.

How to more effectively ensure safety at concerts, city squares, or during large outdoor events? This is one of the most important questions we are looking for answers to as part of the EU project SHIELD PCP. We are honored to be part of this unique initiative!

What is the SHIELD PCP project about?

The standard practice is for services responsible for security to adapt to the technological solutions already available on the market. The SHIELD PCP project reverses this pattern. First, we engage practitioners – representatives of services, rescuers, and public administration – to identify their real operational needs in the area of protecting gatherings. Only on the basis of guidelines developed in this way does the technology sector proceed to design dedicated and innovative tools.

What does this mean in practice?

  • New technologies will be created to help detect threats in crowded places more quickly.
  • Various services will gain tools through which they will be able to exchange information faster in crisis situations.
  • Public spaces in Poland and throughout Europe will simply become safer.

We are proud that the Security Observatory is sharing its expert knowledge in this project. Together, we are connecting the world of people who care about security with the world of the latest technologies.

We encourage you to read the details of the project on the official SHIELD PCP website.
