We are pleased to announce that our expert has been elected to serve as vice-president of the ZMP.

On 28 November 2024, Safety Observatory expert Sergiusz Parszowski was elected to serve as vice-chairman of the Komisja Bezpieczeństwa i Zarządzania Kryzysowego Związku Miast Polskich (Safety and Crisis Management Committee of the Association of Polish Cities). Our expert represents the city of Kielce in the Association as Director of the Centrum Bezpieczeństwa Miasta Kielce (Security Centre of the City of Kielce).

On 28 and 29 November, the first meeting of the Komisja Bezpieczeństwa i Zarządzania Kryzysowego Związku (Union’s Safety and Emergency Management Committee) in the new term was held.

Membership of the Association of Polish Cities allows for cooperation with other local authorities and brings many benefits, such as support and joint problem-solving or consultation on applicable legislation for cities. In addition, representatives of different cities can exchange experiences and look for the best solutions, thus contributing to the development of local communities.
