Sergiusz Parszowski

President, founder and originator of the think tank “Security Observatory”. Advisor on security and public order, protection of persons and property, terrorism prevention, information security, personal data protection crisis management and business continuity. He also deals with issues of data and information use and modern urban technologies. He is proficient in the specialties of security of mass events, security of property and persons, crisis management and civil protection.

Represents the Security Observatory in the Technical Committees of the Polish Committee for Standardization. Member of the Emergency Services Staff Network of the European Emergency Number 112 Association (EENA). Appointed by the Supreme Audit Office to participate in inspections as an external specialist. Co-author of an expert opinion prepared for the Office of Parliamentary Analyses.

Author of dozens of articles in trade journals including: “Protection and Security”, “Security&Alarm Systems”, “A&S Poland”. Co-author of the books “Security of local communities. Prevention programs in the security system” and “Mass events. Organization, security, good practices”. Graduate of the National Defense Academy in Warsaw and the Police Academy in Szczytno.

Cezary Mecwaldowski

Cezary Mecwaldowski, M.Sc.

Lecturer at the Central Prison Service Training Center, the Training Center of the Polish Chamber of Alarm Systems, designer of electronic security systems, speaker at security industry conferences, author of numerous publications and expert witness, specializing in video surveillance systems, communication systems and the use of control devices. Author of studies of “monitor” video surveillance system operator positions in the Prison Service.

Participant in international projects with a two-year internship in Saudi Arabia in the field of energy and industrial automation. Graduate of two majors in Industrial Power Engineering and Applied Computer Science at the Technical University of Lodz. He completed postgraduate studies in Pedagogy at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Management in Public Administration for Uniformed Services at the Poznań University of Economics. In addition, participant in dozens of specialized courses at home and abroad.

Hubert Stróżyk

Passionate about public safety, fascinated by the potential of modern technology in creating safer cities.

Combining a fresh perspective with his knowledge of military security allows him to comprehensively analyse today’s challenges. His area of interest is the application of artificial intelligence, IoT devices and other innovative solutions to the practice of emergency management and the daily work of uniformed services. He strives to use the latest technologies and best practices from the military to create more effective security systems in the civilian environment. He believes that synergy between the civilian and military worlds is the key to building a secure future in the face of new threats that emerge over time.

He co-authored the expert report ‘Model system of civil protection in local government – recommendations and recommendations’, which is a comprehensive study on building effective systems for responding to threats at the local level.

dr Krzysztof Chudy

Assistant Professor at Wrocław University of Technology, expert in hydrogeology and geological sciences with fieldwork experience. Specialises in analysing and interpreting hydrogeological data and preparing expert reports for the mining and environmental sectors.

Local activist and flood leader of one of Wrocław’s housing estates.

Experienced in cooperation with both the private sector and local administration.

Author of many expert opinions and documentation in the field of hydrogeology, including for KGHM PM SA and PAN METRO Group, Wroclaw Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences and other mining and construction companies. As a populariser of science he actively supports the development of awareness of water and its rational management.

Member of the Board of the Association of Polish Hydrogeologists and technical editor of the journal ‘Hydrogeology’. Author of numerous scientific and didactic publications.
