The Safety Observatory participated in the development of the report ‘Pomerania on light gas – directions and scenarios for the development of the hydrogen economy until 2030 with an outlook to 2040’.

The report was commissioned by the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship (Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Pomorskiego) by the research company 4CF The Futures Literacy Company. It addresses key aspects of the development of the voivodeship’s hydrogen economy by 2040. The report not only contains a diagnosis of the current situation, but also a vision of the future presented in scenarios for the development of a hydrogen economy in Pomerania. Pomerania is a region with favourable environmental conditions and is already implementing hydrogen projects, and with an effective strategy it can better exploit its assets.

Our participation in the project concerned the safety of hydrogen storage, distribution and transport, as well as the safety of hydrogen facilities.

The report can be downloaded from the 4CF The Futures Literacy Company website.
