On February 19, 2024, Security Observatory expert Maj. Cezary Mecwaldowski was appointed Commander of the Central Prison Service Training Center in Kule (Ośrodek Szkolenia Służby Więziennej w Kulach).

Various forms of training are carried out at the Prison Service Training Center in Kule (Ośrodek Szkolenia Służby Więziennej w Kulach):

  • professional for non-commissioned officers of the Prison Service with specialization in protection;
  • specialized;
  • courses within the framework of professional development;
  • preparatory courses (organization, recruitment and supervision of implementation).

The Center also hosts the finals of the Prison Service Spartakiada and the Prison Service Championships in Basketball, Volleyball and Swimming, as well as the Romek Smok International Seminar on Intervention Techniques and Self-Defense.

The Center also cooperates with local schools, especially with uniformed classes. As part of this cooperation, the Center’s lecturers prepare and conduct classes for the students.
