On 11 December 2024, a new technical committee – KT 340 on Smart and Sustainable Cities and Communities – was established.

We are pleased to announce that we are one of the founders and members of the newly established technical committee by the Polski Komitet Normalizacyjny (Polish Committee for Standardisation).

The scope of the Komitetu Technicznego 340 (Technical Committee 340) includes:

  • issues in the field of smart and sustainable urban and community development;
  • development of requirements, frameworks, guidance and supporting tools and techniques in this field.

The documents created by KT 340 aim to support the implementation of integrated and holistic strategies that respond to the needs of European cities and communities.

You can find out which technical committees we are already a member of in the post: The Safety Observatory is a member of the Technical Committees of the Polish Committee for Standardisation.
